About Jeri

For over 20 years, my passion has been working with children, teens and families in a variety of settings to help them handle difficult issues, develop more resilient relationships, and expand the possibilities of their lives. I truly enjoy helping people see and appreciate the inner strengths they already have, and harness those strengths in support of their own goals. My overall framework for therapy is a family systems approach. Using this approach I will help you to explore your interactions with the people in your life: your family, your school or work, and your community. I also use a cognitive behavioral approach, with which I help my clients identify, test, and re-shape the beliefs and assumptions that underlie their behavior. I also utilize techniques from art therapy, and play therapy. As your therapist, I will provide a safe and confidential setting for you to handle the difficult issues you face. I am rigorous in assuring you have the highest levels of care, respect, and confidentiality.I encourage you to contact me to explore how working together might expand your ability to create the satisfying and fulfilling life you desire.
